Services: Expert Witness

Mr. Wilson’s more than 30 years of experience in working with the Nation’s floodplains and his education have positioned him to be qualified as an expert witness by trial judges, administrative law judges and mediation judges. He brings the low-key scientific approach to the hearing, backed by experience and knowledge that lends credibility to his statements.

He has testified before several legal hearings and disputes. He was selected by Judge Donald Owens to serve on the Board of Review for a large drainage project in Lansing Township, Michigan. He was the plaintiff's engineering witness on a dispute between the homeowner and the builder regarding construction within the floodplain and local, state and federal requirements.

Additionally, Mr. Wilson has testified, by invitation, before two U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittees on the effectiveness of various state programs related to floodplain management.
